My Dearest Love

As you all know, well most of you, I have a major love for the show that everyone in America loves, well that may not be true.. but that's besides the point. I'm addicted. It's like my drug. Just better for my health :) but maybe not for my kids. Because when January rolls around, My butt is planted on my couch for that 2 hours it's on. Then when it gets down to whenever it is that it's only for an hour, my kiddies get an extra hour of time with mommy. But when I hear that theme song and see that American Idol logo, they know not to bother me. Well Abbie knows that. Preston doesn't quite understand to shut up during my time.

I was very upset when Mr. Michael Johns got voted off on like April 10th.. something like that. It was that Idol Gives Back week. Last year, NO ONE was voted off that week. It made me extremely mad that one of my favorites was voted off at such an early stage when he did a great job. He sang Dream On by Aerosmith. AND HIT THOSE HIGH NOTES! He did fabulous. Don't worry darling, you have a great future ahead of you. I'm soo proud of you.

I was also competely shocked the week Mrs. Carly Smithson was voted off. She sang that song like their was NO tomorrow and should have definitely stayed. Mrs. Brooke White should have gone. But she didn't. Darling, You will be so successful, it's not even funny.

Then we make it to week five. Ah. The week Mrs. I've-never-seen-an-R-rated-movie-and-neither-has-my-husband. She gets voted off. :) Finally. I know I know, that's mean to say. But in all honesty, She SUCKED! Thank god she left that week!

Next week, the final 4. We have the lovely Syesha Mercado, Handsome as shit David Cook, Dorky looking David Archuleta, and Dreadlock dood Jason Castro. Thank god Dreadlock dude left! He should have gone when he sang Somewhere Over the Fucking Rainbow. Retard. But he left. He didn't make it past the top 4. Mr Simon Cowell told him to pack his bags he was goin' home! Boy was he right. I love you Simon. (not.. Hopefully I didn't get your hopes up!)

Ah. The final three. It's getting close to my favorite night of the whole season. We all knew who was going to the finale. Handsome David and Dorky David. All three of those lovely contestants did a lovely job. They all were winners. Unfortunately one had to go. It was lovely Syesha. You're gorgeous doll.


Ah! My favorite. The Finale! :) Mr. David Cook up first. He sang "I still haven't found what I'm looking for" By I think, U2. Since he was first, he got all praises from the judges. But then came Mr. Dorky David. I don't even remember what he sang. Here comes the sun? or something like that? Who knows. Simon told him he won the round. Next. The second round. Mr. Handsome David. He sang Dream Big. It was entered into the songwriting contest for the winning song. It was fabulous. The judges gave him praises. Again. Then Mr. Dork David. He sang something from the songwriters contest. No clue what it was. Simon told him he also won that round. Then the third round. Mr. Handsome David comes up. He sings The World I know. I don't remember by who. But I remember the song. Simon told him it was the wrong song choice. I still thought he did good. Then Mr. Dork David. He sang. No clue what he sang. Simon said Mr. Dork David won the whole thing.

Ah. The results show. The night we all have been waiting for. Well at least I have. They drug it out for 2 hours. It's finally time to reveal who the American Idol 7th season winner is. Ryan said And the Winner of American Idol 2008 is: David... ... ... .... ... Co and then it cuts off for all the people on the west coast watching the Eastern Feed. It ran into the news time. Continuing. Ok. My baby won! I jumped off the couch and screamed so loud. I just sat there. Smiling the whole time he sang "The Time Of My Life", the winning song in the songwriting contest. How lovely it sounded coming from his handsome face.

I've been waiting all.summer.long for this day to come. Monday September 8th. You will not see me. I will be attending the American Idol 2008 Tour. I'm so pumped it's not even funny. I'm sure I will have pictures and stories to tell.!

I'll def. miss you!

The countdown is started.
January is like 3 or 4 months. Whatever it is. I'm excited. I'm really sad though. I'm going to miss it the week I'm in florida. But that's ok! I'll DVR it. It's nothing important anyway. I think it might still be hollywood week and I never pay attention to hollywood week. !
