Life is busy. I have so much going on. But I'm sitting down and I'm going to attempt to write a real post right now. Wow.
I'm currently one day away from being 30 weeks pregnant. I'm soo lucky to be having such a smooth, easy pregnancy. I only hope labor is this easy. I've gained no more than 15lbs which is good because it's less I need to lose.
We had a birthday party for Preston this past weekend. It was amazing. The kid loves cake. I've also discovered he loves wrapping paper. He was more entertained with wrapping paper than he was with all his gifts. His bedroom is currently overflowing with presents. It's ridiculous.
Abbie is signed up for kindergarten. I almost had tears in my eyes when I signed my name on that paper. My little girl is growing up. So is her attitude. Oh my holy hell that kid has an attitude like I've never seen before. If she doesn't get to wear what she wants to wear, It's world war 3 in our house. When it's 20 degrees outside she wants to wear shorts. I'll say no and all hell breaks loose.
Abbie is in her new room and she's loving it. She loves being upstairs and she loves the new layout of her room. We're almost done with Preston's room. He should be up there in the next week or two. We have the new babe's room almost put together. It's not painted yet. We're waiting for the arrival of him/her so that the color can either be blue and green or pink and purple! And it will be warmed and we can have the windows open when we're painting. The only thing not in there is a crib. Nothing is against the wall so that when we do decide to paint we don't have to move anything!
My sister and her boyfriend are moving out at the end of June. It will be nice to have the basement back but I'll sure miss my live-in babysitter. Actually, she wouldn't be a live in babysitter next year because she's going back to school. She only babysits the kids on a Friday for me. I would never put her with 4 kids. Especially 3 in diapers and 3 that can't communicate. Preston is doing good with talking though. We get a mama, dada, Ahee for Abbie, papa for my dad, Beeeeee for the dog. He tries to say other things but he can't get the whole sound he wants so he gets frustrated and walks away.
I think it's time to go and help the 20 kids clean up the mess of glue they left on their desks.

1 Lovely notes:
Ashlyn had Kindegarten registration tomorrow. It doesn't seem possible that she should be going to school! And I know what you mean about that attitude!
