I try my best to go to all the football games since my brother plays football. We played at Newport this week. Newport is like an hour away. So some of us decide we would take my car and waste my gas. I take everyone to every football game. So we're driving. We're almost there. And we get to a grate bridge. I'm terrified of bridges. Mainly bridges over water. I don't remember what this was over, but I was terrified. Grate bridges terrify we even more. So we hit this grate bridge and I have a mini freak out. I always think I'm going to die. I'm weird like that.
If I'm in Harrisburg at all I like to take the walk to City Island. I would like this walk even more if I didn't have to walk across a grate bridge that's about a mile long. If not more. Give or take a few feet. Thank god they have a little cement sidewalk on the side of it.
When I was little, my mom told me that to get onto City Island you had to jump off the bride over the river and hopefully make it over. Yea. That made me even more terrified of bridges and heights.
Do you like bridges?
What's your horror stories with them?

1 Lovely notes:
I don't like bridges either. I always think I am going to fall through. I hate walking over bridges- I get terrified and have to look straight ahead and just keep walking. If I stop or look down, I can't keep going. I try not to let the kids see me like that - I don't want them to develop that fear too!
