1 year.. WOW

Holy wow. It's been one whole year as of 7:00 p.m. tonight, that we have been living in our house. I can't believe it...


This weekend has been full of everything.

Friday we spent some time with relatives that live out of state... that basically took up all day. Nothing exciting happened, so... I have no good stories to tell you about... except that Abbie thought she could ride the dog like it was a horse. But.. whatever.

Yesterday [Saturday], was spent walking, shopping, and cleaning. The day started off early. And when I say early, I mean friggin' early. I was up at the butt crack of Ryan.. [gross].. [we may be in a relationship, but waking up and seeing your boyfriend's butt crack.. ew].. So I was up at 6:30. I started some coffee, took a shower, made breakfast, and woke the rest of the family up. We walked about a half a mile up to the Train Station for the Breast Cancer walk. We walked about 1.5miles back to the other end of the 'trail' and then 1.5miles back to the Train Station. We hung around for a bit and then we walked the half mile back home. We left around noon to go to Harrisburg shopping. I got a few things. Ryan got a few things. And I got the kids a few things. Then we came home and I cleaned. And I cleaned. And I cleaned. Did I mention I cleaned. Then I went to bed.

Today, we went to church. Then did some more shopping. Then came home. We finished putting the final touches on the house. We painted some little things in the bathroom. Our bedroom looks amazing. The walls are maroon. And then I painted tan blocks on the wall for where pictures will go. It's hard to explain. All the pictures are going to be in Sepia and Black and White. I hung pictures in the hall way and living room. Washed our new bedding that we finally got in the mail yesterday. I ordered bedding from Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, and Pottery Barn Baby awhile ago. It all matches our rooms. If I can find some pictures on the internet.. I'll post them. It's all amazing. So now we all have new bedding.

That's my weekend.. and now I'm off to enjoy my coffee and admire my new bedding.

OMG, I can't believe it. One freakin' week 'til school starts. I'm seriously shaking. Whenever I think about it I get real nervous and shaky. I'm soo scared. =/
