Carnival.

Everything is looking better. I came home yesterday just because I wanted to. I couldn't stand the hotel room. I missed my house and my dogs. I guess tomorrow? they will find out about the lump. I have no clue. But I'm staying home for the week and actually going to work. Yipee. [not] Whatever.

We decided that it would be fun to take the kids to the carnival over the mountain. I think we were wrong. This is how it went:

A: Mommy, I wanna ride that ride.
M: Not right now. Mommy and Ryan want to find something to eat. We haven't eaten all day.
A: But I said I wanna ride it RIGHT NOW.
M: But I said no.
A: I don't care. I wanna ride that ride.
M: If you don't stop we're going home.
A: Ryan mommy won't let me ride that ride. Will you please take me on it?
R: No. Mommy said no. We're going to get something to eat.
A: That's not fair.
R: Life isn't fair.
A: I wanna ride that ride.
M: If you don't shut up, I'm taking you to the car and taking you home.
A: I don't wanna go home.
M: Well then stop. I haven't eaten all day. I'm hungary.
We finally get to eat. On the way to the ride-
A: I wanna play that game.
M: NO!
A: I want the fishy.
M: NO! The cats will eat the fish.
A: Ryan, will you win me a fishy?
R: NO! Mommy said no and that's the end of it.
M: Do you wanna ride the ride or not?
A: No.
Me to Ryan: OMG. Shoot me now.
A: Mommy, Brother went to sleep.
M: Ok good. Let him alone.
As I was saying that, she woke him up.
M: Now what the hell did you do that for?
A: He didn't need to sleep.

I now know to not take her to the carnival when I'm cranky and she's tired.

That sounds like most of my life....sorry you were tired and it didn't go well. Glad you are able to be home at least....hopefully you will get good news this week.
